Achieving Goals Despite Uncertainty

There’s a saying that goes: giving up a goal because of a setback is like slashing your other three tires when you get a flat.
The road you were on at the start of the year may have gotten blocked. You may have suffered a radical detour. And, the truth is the uncertain times which we’ve lived with all year are going to continue into 2021.
So, it may be tempting to set that goal aside. To do less.
Don't fall into the trap!
You may have a specific goal or dream but there are many paths to get there.
If you have too much riding on one deal, one prospect, one interview, one audition, one presentation, one speech—you will suffer greater anxiety about the outcome. Have enough irons in the fire, to ensure that any one no or
single disappointment does not devastate you and that you keep going.
So, two things: One, get quantity on your side.
And two, don't give up.
Whatever the road looks like that you're on now, keep moving forward.
Make your plans. Detours don't block the destination they enhance the journey.
