We love that quote. But have you noticed? There is a lot in life that is about limitations. It is much more about limits than possibilities.
Think about traffic signals. They're green and red equally but we don’t call it a “Go” light. It’s a “Stop” light.
There are actually
people who are professional “critics” – movie critics, food critics. No professional “praisers” … just critics.
Visit a pool or a public place and you’ll see plenty of signs and graphics, detailing all the stuff you cannot do. They never post signs telling you what you can do.
The point is… our brains are constantly fed limitations all day long. It’s up to you to provide your own mind with possibility thinking rather than lack and limitation thinking.
James Allen, a British author best-known for his work, As a Man Thinketh, said: "For true success ask yourself these four questions:
Why?
Why not?
Why not me?
Why not now?
You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you."
Give yourself the gift of possibility thinking.
Ignore the critics and naysayers.
Go for No!
Push past limitations and lack mentality
of others.
Oh, but do stop at the red light. That is a good one.
