Are You Feeling Alone? by Andrea Waltz We are lucky. Richard and I have been a team in our business since we both left our corporate jobs all those years ago to start our speaking and training company.
As a team, we have someone to bounce ideas off of, complain to, lean on, and give and get support and encouragement.
And yet sometimes we found that we relied too much on just each other. And eventually we realized that we need other people! As we have personally seen,
if you are retreating and isolating yourself, here is what happens: - Doubt creeps in, you forget your direction and lose purpose
- Uncertainty and panic feelings come over
you
- Internal negative chatter increases, motivation decreases
If you are feeling alone or you are literally alone, do not go it alone! - Attend conferences
(industry, professional, and company meetings)
- Go to meet-up groups and other live networking groups (they are everywhere!)
- And at the very least, get online - but interact!

Our good friend, author and speaker Bob Burg (of The Go
Giver and many other great books) always says, if you think that you are the only one getting rejected, it's happening to everyone who is 'out there' trying.
Come join in! Get questions answered, share your thoughts, get support and give support to other challenge takers. Solitude is not all bad. But going it alone? You just don't have to. Be sure to
