Lessons from a Teenage Inventor
by Andrea Waltz

We often remind people to regain the persistence and tenacity they had as kids. Speaking of kids, you have got to read about the young man recently profiled in Success Magazine, Jack Andraka.

If it wasn't for the fact that he is so incredibly impressive, his story could make any adult feel a wee bit inadequate. You see, Jack was 15 years old when he invented an early detection test for pancreatic, ovarian and lung cancers. By the way, the test costs three cents and takes five minutes to run. He currently holds an international patent on the device.

So, he is now graduating high school - class valedictorian (good grief, we hope so) and is likely going to Stanford. As awe-inspiring as Jack's accomplishments are, so too is his mindset on patience, failure and persistence.  It's worthy of mention that Jack's invention was turned down by 199 labs until finally John Hopkins expressed interest.

So we know you have a lot to do today, but please take a moment to read the short post in Success Magazine of Jack's five tips for innovative pursuits.

Richard & Andrea Recommend...
This great guy came on our radar screen a while ago after he became wildly successful in his company (and often said it was because he read Go for No! and just focused on getting 20 no's a day.) That was a while back...

In fact, in 2009, Ray Higdon was in personal foreclosure. He had over-leveraged himself in real estate, and when the financial crisis hit, the whole thing had fallen apart.  It was a dark, financially stressful time for him.  Of course, Ray could have just given up on his dreams, taken a job to pay the bills, and today very few people would have heard of Ray Higdon.  But Ray didn’t give up!
He got back on his feet, dusted himself off, and learned from his mistakes. And he discovered some things in 2009 and 2010 that catapulted him to success faster than he ever expected.

Today, Ray Higdon is a well-known authority in the home business niche. And perhaps most amazing of all, he had his first $1 million year in 2013 -- just 4 years after he’d been in personal foreclosure.  Anyway, the reason we're telling you all of this is because Ray has developed a formula so anybody can become an expert and dominate their niche... in just 3 minutes a day.

And he’s giving away some of his most valuable tips in a series of free videos.  The first video is all about how to quickly and easily become a credible expert in your niche. Ray tells how he tried to become an expert the first time. This is the slow and difficult way. Then he reveals how he did it the second time (after learning from his mistakes). This is the fast and easy way... the way that you, too, can quickly become a credible expert. Check out the video here, it’s well worth your time.

P.S. This video will only be available for a short period of time. So I strongly encourage you to stop what you’re doing and watch the video now.
