Create Trust by Promising to Follow Up
by
Richard Fenton & Andrea
Waltz
Do you sometimes feel like only a few people these days do what they
say they will do? People often say they will "follow up" and
don't. Following up with people who initially say
"no" or "not yet" achieves two things right away...
1) It's statistically smart. Research shows a huge number of people say
"no" when first asked to make a decision. Follow up increases your
chances to turn that NO into a YES. Following up multiple times can
also play to your advantage. Most people will have gone home long after
1, 2, 3 follow up calls or appointments.
2) It creates trust. Suppose you just told someone that you'll check
back with them in 6 weeks or next Tuesday. Then you don't. What does
that say about you and how seriously you take your business? What does
it say about you caring to keeping your word?
Following up when you say you will creates trust. People often
say NO the first time because of the fear of making a bad decision.
When you follow up you are demonstrating that you are someone who is
serious and that you can be trusted. So, ask to follow up
with those NO's but then do it!

an intellectual basis I'll probably start to worry the day I stop

with Mike Brooks, Mr. Inside Sales. We sent you an email last
week and since Mike is a highly sought after authority on
selling over the phone, and his Webinars regularly sell
out, we wanted to remind you to get in now!
The good news is that because Mike is giving this Webinar on three
different dates, there are some spaces still available so:
Register Now!
For your convenience, you have the following 3 dates to choose from:
Wednesday, May 16th, at Noon Pacific/3PM Eastern
Thursday, May 17th, at 3PM Pacific/6PM Eastern
Friday, May 18th, at 9AM Pacific/Noon Eastern
Now most of you know we are "script people" but the good news is, Mike
has written brand new scripts that will easily allow you to overcome
the main price related objections, and after this webinar you'll know
exactly what to do and say to handle them!
