Rejection Fatigue is Real by Andrea Waltz December has this strange emotional gravity to it. Routines are upside down and I don't know about you but I'm tired of saying, "Where did the year go?!" But can I say, how is it even December 16th?! I couldn't help myself. 😜 So, anyway... Rejection fatigue hits and I see a lot of people go into hiding. They follow up less.
They ask less. They tell themselves, “I'll pick this back up in January.” True, going for no in December isn't world-domination season for most of us. But... keep yourself moving a tiny bit forward, even if a
large part of you wants to crawl under a blanket with a Christmas cookie. Keep things simple. One ask here, one follow-up there. Nothing dramatic. You’re just keeping yourself in motion. And remember:
December Nos aren’t personal. People are distracted, budgets are frozen, inboxes are chaos. A lot of "no" right now is really just "not now." If you stay steady instead of shutting down, January will be much easier. Not perfection, just a little consistency and the willingness to hear No without letting it define anything about you.
