A while ago, we were shopping at Whole Foods and a lady was in the produce area, handing out free samples of dip. I don't know about you but I don't just pass by a free sample, especially of dip. I tried it, and had to admit, pretty darn good.Â
She handed me a coupon and I took one container.Â
She got a yes.Â
Over the next few
minutes I watched her ask many people if they'd like to try it as they walked by.Â
She got "no" after "no."Â
(These people need to live a little, it's free dip! 🤣)Â
I am certain that by the end of the day she had far more Nos than yeses.Â
Fast forward a few months. I was back at the store and what did I buy? The dip. Two. To be honest, I'm obsessed. I've probably purchased a dozen ever since
trying it.Â
That woman may have gotten many Nos that day for her company, but she facilitated a "yes" from me, many times over.
Here's the lesson:Â
Even if you face a lot of "no's," the right "yes" can be worth its weight in gold (or in this case, dip). Keep putting yourself out there—you never know who might become your next loyal fan.
