Because the brain’s job is to protect you 24/7/365. It looks for danger and
threats everywhere, and always wants to play it safe. It also believes “NO” is bad and wants to keep you from it. Here’s what this comes down to: You are not in a battle with the prospect—you are at war with your own mind. Â
