Have you ever had one these types of thoughts cross your mind?
“If they wanted it, they'd make sure to ask me about it.”
“When they finally decide, I’ll be the first one they reach out to.”
“If there’s an opportunity, they’ll let me know.”
If you aren’t getting yes or no… if opportunities seem to always pass you by… maybe you are not being proactive enough?
Sitting back and passively waiting for other people to finally decide, sell themselves, or help you with your future is going to severely
impact your results both in speed and in getting what you want.
Layer in the fact that other people are using their courage to take the lead and that leaves you with a lot of radio silence.
Being assertive is not being pushy.
Or
aggressive.
Or demanding.
But it is about being courageous in those moments when you'd rather not speak up, rather take an order than go after it, or wish that you were getting more responses and replies.
