The Top 5 Reasons that Doing a Go for No 21 Day Challenge is Really Hard
There's nothing more frustrating than being told something's "easy" and then finding out it's hard.
So, let's talk about the hard stuff related to the 21 Day Challenge.
Here are my observations and conclusions after doing four of them so far this year.
1... You become acutely aware that you need leads and people to reach out to.
How do you "go for no" if there's no one to "go for no" with?
You can't.
That's why during the challenge, ideally, you have selected plenty of contacts, or, you must factor that time and effort into the challenge when you take it. On our coaching call, one lady discovered that she didn't have clarity on who her ideal customer really was. This major revelation probably saved her years of misdirection and she was relieved to get it.
2... Expectations get completely reset.
This challenge is messy.
By that I mean, people come in and expect to "crush it" and they have a goal to get a ton of no's... and then reality sets in. It takes longer and it's not as easy to reach the "no goal" they set. They see that they aren't "crushing" the challenge as much as mushing into their life. The vision they had isn't as perfect as they thought it would be.It's tough to fight through this because so much inside you wants to give up and abandon it.
3... It's important, but it's not urgent.
I've blown off many a course and call that I've paid for so I get it. Putting out fires, attending to things that are in your face and must be done *today* are more important than a nice-to-do, not must-do challenge.
You must fight for the person you could be in just a matter of weeks.
There's a saying that goes, "if you don't have time to do it right, when will have time to do it over?" Sticking it out and making the challenge a priority (ooh, pretend it cost $7,500!) is key. If you want to send me $7,500 as motivation, fine, I'll take it. But only to help you.
4... Accountability is everything.
Even with the instructional call and coaching to launch you into the challenge, you still have to wake up each day and do it. It's hard! I would love to move in for three weeks for live accountability but it's crazy expensive and I like to eat out, too.
So, we have added a much less expensive but super effective option. You'll now have the option to add daily accountability calls to your challenge and I believe this will be *the* game changer for the people that decide to do it.
5... You learn what you really fear.
Who wakes up saying, "I can't wait to be scared and anxious today?!"
Just me?
Procrastination has a fantastic way of shielding you from the hard truths and stuff you don't want to do let alone think about. Several people in each of the challenge have had massive breakthroughs about what they really fear. Some of it was based on their personality or an early childhood experience. Guess what? It didn't make things worse. It freed them! But, there is nothing easy about facing and moving through fear.
So, that's a lot to think about.
Despite those things, actually because of those things, the challenge is worth doing, I promise you!
If you'd like to join spots are very limited. The next challenge won't be until September.
