This Month's NOtivational Quote |
"My advice to everybody – never give up and have great resiliency. Don’t take the rejection personally, but listen if it’s intelligent and make changes if they’re needed and then move forward."

A Story About
Beliefs
by Andrea Waltz
A few years ago we were at a conference at a big hotel/convention center in Dallas.
Somewhere near one of the ballrooms, I found a restroom and as I walked in, I noticed a man washing his hands over at the sink.
Hmmm, poor guy wandered into the wrong room, I thought as he walked out.
As I made my way over to the stalls on the right side of the room, I noticed that the wall on the left side of the room was lined with urinals.
Interesting, you don’t see those very often in the women’s restroom, I thought.
Now at this point, most of you are assuming I walked into the men’s room.
And if you are thinking that, good for you because you'd be right. As for me, while this was happening, I was convinced that I had walked into the correct place, ignoring all evidence to the contrary.
I was entrenched in my belief that I was the one in the right place.
Then all at once, it hit me. And I scurried out.
I was shaken. Not by my minor faux pas.
I was shocked at how long it took me to change MY perspective!
Am I really so fixed in my beliefs?
I’ve never forgotten that day because it was a good lesson for me to pause, look around (literally in some cases), and question if maybe the things around me are not what needs to change, but I do.
And the good news is, I can.
Believe you can't change your thoughts or fears?
Oh, but you can. I believe that.

Have you ever wondered how some entrepreneurs seem to grow every year and make it look easy? And others, maybe you, feel like they are pulling their hair out every day to make even tiny progress on their goals?
What's the difference? The difference is attention. My friend, Laura Posey, is deep into helping people with this and she's doing it with a single sheet of paper.
I am all about simplicity and when I saw Laura's one-page plan I loved it. And she's sharing it on a webinar in the next few days.
She is hosting a free, online training called, “How to Plan Your Entire Year on One Sheet of Paper.”
I saw a similar presentation a few years ago and it's powerful stuff. And a great way to lead you into 2022.
